"What The Heck Is Biotech?"
focuses on presenting biological sciences,
biotechnology, renewable resources, environmental impacts and
agricultural careers at the
6-10 grade level.
Twenty South Dakota teachers will be selected to participate.
In-depth training
in the area of biotechnology, including its impact on daily
life, our economy and future generations is a key part of this
workshop. The workshop will feature
interactive, experiential learning activities.
The curriculum presented will meet state standards and learning objectives for 6th through 10th grade students.
